Wednesday's group ride brought a couple new additions to the club. I am not talking about members, I am talking about new steeds for Sir Starman and Sir Banana. Banana found a good one to match his cherished tropical fruit and Starman to match the color of his favorite week, shark.
Other than the new bikes there is little to mention. As always, the Tool found a way to make us all feel a bit uncomfortable and Captain explained why being from both Pennsylvania and Maine made him superior.
The first Arch Ride of the year was a great success! The further distance attracted a new member, Eric "Rose" Cawley, to come out for the trek. Rose was a bit quiet during the ride but did most of the talking with his legs.
About half way to the Arch we stopped at my house to get some fuel and picked-up a new honorary member Samantha "First Lady" Ellis. The First Lady has made multiple requests to join the club and on Saturday she earned her stripes after climbing the north entrance hill.

You can plan on us doing an Arch Ride once a month or so as we prepare for our KC ride.

PS: We are thinking about adding a triathlon branch to the Cycling Club. Captain and Banana are spearheading this movement.
Once a month? i thought that you were leaving for KC about a month from now? right?
